Our location

Nila Ayurveda is situated in Wayanad District, 728 meters/2388 ft above sea level.

• 99 kilometers / 3 – 5 hours drive from Calicut Airpot.
• 330 kilometers / 7 – 8 hours from Bangalore Airport.

The nearby village Panamaram is 2.5 kilometers away. The nearest town, Kalpetta, is approximately 1 hour drive away.

• September, October: Atumn/Monsoon season with less rain, around 24°C
• November, December, January, February: Winter season, around 20°C
• March, April, May: Summer, around 26°C
• June, July, August: Monsoon season, much rain 23°C

Transportation from/to airport

We cooperate with Wayanad Tourist Taxi, a small family run company. Their drivers are uttermost reliable and experienced, and their cars are of excellent standard and comfort.

Rates for one way pickup and drop:

• Calicut Airport: INR 5300 (small car) and INR 6500 (big car).
• Bangalore Airport: INR 13000 (small car) and INR 16000 (big car).

What to bring

• Toiletries.
• Sanitary pads/tampons.
• Shower cap (for days when, due to treatment, hair must not be washed).
• Comfortable and casual clothing; both light and warmer ones.
• Tops and pants suitable for yoga classes, including some w/long sleeves for cooler days.
• A shawl/light blanket to cover yourself during meditation, yoga nidra and puja.
• Indoor light slippers; eventually both for your room and for wearing in the dining room area. (On the ground floor common areas/dining room)
• Light raincoat. (We provide umbrellas)
• Alarm clock.
• A small flashlight.
• You may need to bring an adapter for your devices. (Electricity is 220 volt)

Laundry service

We offer our guests the service of careful hand wash of clothing.

Smoking

Be aware that smoking is strictly prohibited on our campus.
